Template:Timeline row/doc

This is a documentation subpage for Template:Timeline row.
It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

This template prints timeline rows in {{horizontal timeline}}. The maximum number of rows is 29.

Usage

Parameters

Default colour for bars
Border for top and bottom of row. e.g. "solid 1px black"
Border for top only
Border for bottom only 
REQUIRED - start of timeline
REQUIRED - end of timeline
Text to display in bar 
REQUIRED - Date to end bar.
Overrides default colour if set.

Each bar begins at the end of the last one. To leave a gap between bars, create a bar with no text and colour=transparent.

Bars not appearing?

If you are trying to cram in vast numbers of bars, you may need to add more - instructions are to be found in the source code when you edit this page (or contact Verisimilus T if you're stuck!)
