Template:Video game ratings
This template is used in conjunction with {{Infobox video game}} to summarize ratings information for computer or video game articles.
Syntax
Using named parameters
The following parameters may be specified to display ratings for multiple regions in a single call (however, they will not be sorted in any particular order):
- ACB=rating
- Australian Classification Board
- APP=rating
- App Store
- BBFC=rating
- British Board of Film Classification
- CERO=rating
- Computer Entertainment Rating Organization
- ELSPA=rating
- Entertainment and Leisure Software Publishers Association
- ESRB=rating
- Entertainment Software Rating Board
- GRB=rating
- Game Rating Board
- OFLCZ=rating
- Office of Film and Literature Classification (New Zealand); if different from OFLCA
- PEGI=rating
- Pan European Game Information
- USK=rating
- Unterhaltungssoftware Selbstkontrolle
If it is desirable to list ratings in a specific order (e.g. chronological), specify each rating with a separate call.
Alternate syntax
Using two parameters {{Video game ratings | [[system]] | rating }}
- system
- Wikilinked system/organization name. For brevity, should be formatted as a piped link, e.g. [[Entertainment Software Rating Board|ESRB]]'.
- rating
- system/organization rating
Using three parameters (for backwards compatibility) {{Video game ratings | system | ID | rating }}
- system | ID
- Name and abbreviation for the rating system/organization (ESRB, CERO, PEGI, etc.) to which the rating applies. This is essentially the same format as a piped link, minus the surrounding brackets.
- rating
- system/organization rating
