The Boys of Summer (song)
"The Boys of Summer" is a 1984 song by Don Henley. It is the leading single from his second studio album Building the Perfect Beast. It went to number 3 in Australia, number 5 in the United States, number 7 in New Zealand, number 12 in the United Kingdom and again following its 1998 re-release, number 15 in Canada, number 18 in New Zealand and Germany and number 23 in the Netherlands. It won a Grammy Award in 1986. It was covered by DJ Sammy in 2002 and The Ataris in 2003.
