The Charge of the Light Brigade is a 1936 American adventure movie directed by Michael Curtiz and was based on the 1854 poem of the same name by Alfred, Lord Tennyson. It stars Errol Flynn, Olivia de Havilland, Patric Knowles, Henry Stephenson, Nigel Bruce, Donald Crisp, David Niven, Spring Byington and was distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. It was nominated for 3 Oscars and won an Academy Award in 1937 and was remade in 1968.
