Background
Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga reprise their roles as paranormal investigators and authors Ed and Lorraine Warren from the first movie. The movie is about the Warrens as they travel to England to help the Hodgson family, who are experiencing poltergeist activity in Enfield council house in 1977. This event became referred to as the Enfield Poltergeist.
Release
The Conjuring 2 was released in North America on June 10, 2016. The movie received positive reviews from critics and has made over $320 million worldwide.[3] A spin-off prequel movie, The Nun, is scheduled to be released in 2018.
