The Heiress
The Heiress is a 1949 American romantic drama movie directed by William Wyler and was based on the 1947 play of the same name and also adapted from the 1880 novel Washington Square by Henry James. It stars Olivia de Havilland, Montgomery Clift, Ralph Richardson, Miriam Hopkins, Vanessa Brown, Russ Brown and was distributed by Paramount Pictures. It was nominated for 8 Oscars and won 4 Academy Awards in 1950.[1]
