The Pirate
The Pirate is a 1948 American musical movie directed by Vincente Minnelli and was based on the 1942 play of the same name by S. N. Behrman. It stars Judy Garland, Gene Kelly, Walter Slezak, Gladys Cooper, Reginald Owen, George Zucco, Lester Allen, Lola Albright and was distributed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. It was nominated for an Academy Award in 1949.
