The Quiet Man
The Quiet Man is a 1952 American romantic comedy drama movie directed by John Ford and based on the 1933 short story of the same name by Maurice Walsh. It stars John Wayne, Maureen O'Hara, Barry Fitzgerald, Ward Bond, Victor McLaglen, Eileen Crowe, Mildred Natwick, Jack MacGowran and was distributed by Warner Bros.. It was nominated for 7 Oscars and won 2 at the Academy Awards in 1953.
