Thirsk is a town near the A1 road in North Yorkshire, England. There is a museum about James Herriot. There is a train station.

Thirsk is where a TV show called "The Yorkshire Vet" was set.

Thirsk is on the "East Coast Mainline" and has hourly trains to Manchester and Redcar, as well as every bi-hourly trains to London and Sunderland.
