Turn of the Tide
Turn of the Tide (original title: Rabo de Peixe) is a Portuguese drama television series on Netflix. It follows four young people living on the island of São Miguel in the Azores. They find a ton of cocaine washed up on the coast. Eduardo and his friends see this as their chance to escape poverty and enter the drug trade. What begins as an adventure soon becomes a dangerous game with cartels, police, and international rivals.

The series uses the Azores setting for both visual and story purposes. It mixes thriller, drama, and coming-of-age elements. Critics have praised the cast, especially José Condessa as Eduardo. The show was created by Augusto Fraga and also directed by Patrícia Sequeira and João Maia.

Reception
The series has been praised for its fast pacing, strong performances, and the use of the Azores as a setting. Some criticism has been made about certain cliché dialogues. Fernsehserien.tv rated the series 78 out of 100.[1]
