University of California, Irvine
The University of California, Irvine (UCI or UC Irvine)[1] is a public research university in Irvine, California. It is one of the 10 campuses in the University of California (UC) system. UC Irvine offers 87 undergraduate degrees and 129 graduate and professional degrees.
The university is classified as a Research I university.[2] UC Irvine became a member of the Association of American Universities in 1996 and is the youngest university to hold membership.[3]

Murray Krieger Hall in the School of Humanities, named after an inspirational professor and an example of the Brutalist architecture of the campus.
Henry Samueli School of Engineering complex in 2006. Buildings in the lower right quadrant of the image have since been demolished.
McDonnell Douglas Engineering Auditorium & Rockwell Engineering Center, designed by renowned architect Frank Gehry.
The Anteater Learning Pavilion (ALP), the first "active learning" classroom in California at the time of its completion in 2017.
Langson Library, one of the five central libraries maintained by UCI, is the main repository for most of the university's research materials and hosts many study areas.
