V346 Puppis
V346 Puppis (shortened as V346 Pup) is a red supergiant star located 4332.09 light years away in the constellation Puppis.
It is a carbon star, meaning it contains more carbon than oxygen in its atmosphere. This is why it has a spectral type of C D[further explanation needed].[1] It has a radius of 1,025 times that of the radius of the Sun.[2] It has an effective temperature of 1,875 K.[2]
