Van Patrick
Van Patrick (August 15, 1916 – September 29, 1974) was an American sportscaster. He is best known for his play-by-play work with the Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers.[1] Patrick called Lions games from 1950 until his death in 1974[2]
In addition he called play-by-play for the Cleveland Indians and MLB on Mutual. For football he called play-by-play for the NFL on Mutual and Notre Dame Fighting Irish football. He also called boxing for Mutual Radio.
