Varkala
Varkala (Malayalam: വര്ക്കല) is a city in the Indian state of Kerala. It is on the west coast of India near the far south of the mainland. It is the only region in the southern Kerala that has cliffs. Geologists call these cliffs the Varkala Formation.[1]
Infrastructure
Varkala is a famous tourist place. The town has great telecommunication facilities, an average-rated water supply system, fire station, several post offices and a police station. The town has a government-run modern medicine, ayurveda, and nature cure hospital. Also there are about 10 private hospitals, clinics and some dental clinics.
