Blood draw is when blood gets taken from a vein using a hypodermic needle. It is stored in special blood bottles. These bottles are called vacutainers. There is usually a liquid or mist in the bottle that moves blood inside it.

An elastic tourniquet used to temporarily restrict blood flow. The tourniquet distends the veins, making them more palpable and visible.
