In geometry, vertical angles relates to a linear slope on a graph. So if the equation is linear, you can tell because it will not have any exponents.

\angle \text{BAC} is formed by rays \vec{\text{AB}} and \vec{\text{AC}}. \theta is the conventional measure of \angle \text{BAC} and \beta is an alternative measure.
Angle types
The angle addition postulate defines addition and subtraction of angles: θ + α = φ; φ − α = θ.
Angles A and B are adjacent.
