Vineet Budki[1] is the Managing Partner and CEO of Cypher Capital, a prominent crypto-native venture capital firm based in the United Arab Emirates. Cypher Capital has gained international recognition, being highlighted by Wu Blockchain as one of the top three crypto venture funds globally. It is also ranked among the top five Web 3 gaming venture capital firms.[2]
Career
Under Budki's leadership, Cypher Capital has achieved a notable 45 times return on capital across over 100 ventures in its last fund.[3] The firm's investments range from $250,000 to $1 million, and it manages more than 100 assets. The current fund is a $100 million single LP fund, seeded by Bijan Alizadeh, the founder of Phoenix Technology. Budki has become a significant figure in the global blockchain and cryptocurrency industry. He has led investments in over 300 blockchain start-ups, including notable companies such as Mysten Labs (Sui), Berachain, Solana, Ton, Revolving Studios, Web3Auth, Particle Network, Kelp Dao, My Pet Hooligan, and Manta Network.
