Walter Hadlee
Walter Arnold Hadlee was born on 4 June 1915. He died on 29 September 2006. He was a New Zealand cricketer and Test match captain. He played first-class cricket. Three of his five sons were Sir Richard, Dayle, and Barry. They also played cricket for New Zealand. The Chappell–Hadlee Trophy is named after the Hadlee family. [1]
