William Henry Barbour Jr. (February 4, 1941 – January 8, 2021) was an American lawyer and politician. He was born in Yazoo City, Mississippi. Barbour Jr. was a member of the Republican Party.
In 1983, President Ronald Reagan nominated him to be Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District. He was Chief Judge from 1989 to 1996.
Barbour was a cousin and former law partner of Haley Barbour, former Governor of Mississippi.[1]
Barbour died on January 8, 2021, at his home in Yazoo City at the age of 79.[2]
