Lacy Clay

William Lacy Clay Jr. (born July 27, 1956) is an American politician. He was the U.S. Representative from Missouri's 1st congressional district from 2001 to 2021. He is a member of the Democratic Party.

On August 4, 2020, he lost the Democratic primary to serve for an 11th term to community activist and progressive Democrat Cori Bush.[1]
