Wrexham A.F.C.
Wrexham A.F.C. is a football club located in Wrexham, Wales but playing in the English league system. Wrexham are also the oldest Welsh club in football.[2] It will be playing in EFL Championship, during the 2025-26 season.[3].[4][5]

The club has received major international publicity since being purchased in November 2020 by American actor Rob McElhenney and Canadian–American actor Ryan Reynolds,[6] with the purchase completed in February 2021.[7] Their ownership of the club has since been the subject of the documentary series Welcome to Wrexham. The series airs on FX and Hulu in the United States and Disney+ in the UK and Ireland.[8][9]
