Yegor Ligachyov

Yegor Kuzmich Ligachev (Russian: Его́р Кузьми́ч Лигачёв, 29 November 1920 – 7 May 2021) was a Soviet politician. He was a high-ranking official in the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU). He was the Second Secretary of the Party when Mikhail Gorbachev was serving as General Secretary.
