documenta is one of the most important exhibitions of modern art in the world. Since 1955, it takes place every five years in Kassel, Germany.
- The exhibition documenta was held as late as 2022; The next exhibition is scheduled five years after that. Art Cologne and Transmediale are held every year.
- More than 1.2 million people visited the exhibition documenta 14, which was held in 2017.
