Merwin Coad (September 28, 1924 – September 5, 2025) was an American politician. He was a Democratic U.S. Representative from Iowa's 6th congressional district for six years, serving from January 1957 to January 1963.
Coad died in Greenville, Texas, on September 5, 2025, at the age of 100. He was the last living former U.S. representative who took office in the 1950s.[1]
