George Richard Chamberlain (March 31, 1934 – March 29, 2025) was an American movie, television, voice, stage actor, and singer. He was known for his role as Dr. Kildare in the TV series of the same name. He has won two Golden Globe Awards.
Chamberlain was born on March 31, 1934 in Beverly Hills, California.[1] He studied at Beverly Hills High School and at Pomona College. He was partners with Martin Rabbett from the 1970s through 2010.
Chamberlain died of problems caused from a stroke in Waimānalo, Hawaii on March 29, 2025, two days before his 91st birthday.[2]
