Ōiso (大磯町code: ja is deprecated , Ōiso-machi) is a Japanese town in Kanagawa Prefecture on the island of Honshū.

History

In the Edo period, Ōiso-juku was 8th of the 53 shogunate-maintained waystations (shuku-eki) along the Tōkaidō road which connected Edo and Kyoto.^[1]

Ōiso is on the coastline of Sagami Bay.
