12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos is a 2018 self-help book by Canadian clinical psychologist and psychology professor Jordan Peterson. The book has sold over five million copies worldwide, and was at the top of bestseller lists in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom.[1]

Peterson went on a world tour after the book was released, and got a lot of attention for an interview in the UK on Channel 4 News.[2] Many critics liked the book's unusual style and the advice it gives, but some have criticized his writing style.[3]
