1893 Honduran presidential election
Presidential elections were in Honduras on 14 September 1893. Domingo Vásquez was the only candidate. He was elected.[1]
Background
President Ponciano Leiva, was elected president in 1891. On 9 February 1893, he said he was resigning from his job. He gave power to Minister of War Rosendo Agüero. Agüero then gave his power to Domingo Vásquez.[1] Leiva officially resigned on 15 July.[1]
