Playoffs
The Flames lost to the Chicago Blackhawks 2 games to 4 in the Conference Quarter-Finals.[2]

Darryl Sutter presents Jarome Iginla with a silver stick in honour of his becoming the Flames all-time scoring leader.
Brett Sutter became the eighth member of the Sutter family to play in the NHL when he made his debut on December 23.
