2024 Danish royal election
Royal elections are set to be held in Denmark on 14 January 2024. Voters will elect the King of Denmark to a sixty-year term. Current Queen Margrethe II is abdicated and doesn't want run for re-election since she has served the fifty-two years.
When the new king is chosen on the ballot on 14 January by winning more than any other of valid votes cast, their term will begin on the evening.
