High Definition TV (HDTV) uses digital signals and the 16:9 aspect ratio standard. This is different to SDTV (Standard Definition TV) that uses analog signals and the 4:3 aspect ratio standard.

HDTV picture resolution is at least twice that of SDTV, so it can present a more vivid screen than analog. HDTV can control resolution efficiently.

YouTube can upload/view video in 1080p or higher HD.
