Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'Module:Ancient Olympiads' not found. Year 106 (CVI) was a common year starting on Thursday (link will display the full calendar) of the Julian calendar. At the time, it was known as the Year of the Consulship of Commodus and Civica (or, less commonly, year 859 Ab urbe condita). Writing out 106 for this year has been used since the early medieval period, when the Anno Domini calendar era became the normal method in Europe for naming years.
