AS Real Bamako
The Association Sportive du Real Bamako is a Malian football club from Bamako, the capital city of Mali. It plays in the Malian Première Division, the top division of Malian football. His home stadium is the Stade Modibo Keïta. The club won the national championship in Mali six times. Therefore it is one of the most successful clubs in the country. The club selection is known by the nickname the Scorpions.

One of Real Bamako's most successful players was Salif "Domingo" Keïta (1963–67). He won three championships and the African Footballer of the Year award (1970) during his time with AS Saint-Étienne in France. [1]
