Abdul Salam Azimi (Pashtu:عبدالسلام عظیمی (Januaury 1936 – 22 January 2026) was an Afghan politician and lawyer. He was the Chief Justice of Afghanistan. He was the Acting Head of the Afghan Supreme Court.[1] He was considered a moderate and wears western-style clothing including suits and ties.[2] Azimi was a former professor at the University of Nebraska at Omaha in the United States. He was an ethnic Pashtun of the Alizai tribe. Azimi was born in Farah Province.

Azimi died on 22 January 2026 at the age of 90.[3]
