biography
Rustamov is a Georgian citizen and has close ties to, among others, terrorist Akhmet Chatayev and Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. In the summer of 2018, Rustamov used a fake passport to enter Turkey illegally. Since then, Rustamov has settled in Istanbul and continues to cooperate with the activities of the local Islamic State group. In November 2018, Abu Nuradin Rustamov was arrested as part of a manhunt organized by the CIA and the Georgian government.
