Adult school

Adult school is a type of school for adults. The school is for any adult who has not finished high school and want to finish it. A number of adult schools have programs like child care or immigration services.[1]

History

In 1798, two men in England named Samuel Fox and William Singleton are both the minds behind adult school.[2] They both created an adult school in Nottingham, England. It does not have a name. At first, the classes were for young adult aged women that had classes from hosiery to lacing. As the years passed by, the school included men.
