Agencia de Recaudación y Control Aduanero

The Customs Collection and Control Agency (Spanish: Agencia de Recaudación y Control Aduanero, mostly known for its acronym ARCA) is an agency responsible for the collection of taxes of the Argentine State dependent on the Ministry of Economy.

History

The Customs Collection and Control Agency (ARCA) was announced by presidential spokesman Manuel Adorni on October 21, 2024, during a press conference.

It replaced its predecessor. It has also been noted that "the creation of ARCA aims to reduce the size of the State, eliminate unnecessary positions, professionalize the entity, and eradicate corrupt networks".
