Ahmad al-Khatib
Ahmed al-Khatib (Arabic: أَحْمَد حَسَن ٱلْخَطِيب; June 12 1933 - February 7 1975) was a Syrian politician who was president. He was executed in 1975 at the age of 41 after joining the opposition. He was succeeded by Hafez al-Assad.
