Ahvaz
Ahvaz (Persian: اهواز) is a city in southwestern Iran. It is the capital of Khuzestan Province. In the year 2016, about 1,350,000 people lived there. In 2018, 30 people were killed in a mass shooting. The city is majority Arab with a significant Persian minority.
