Fraud allegations

Das was accused of fraud and nepotism while serving with the Badminton Association of India. The allegations were related to the selection of players for a goodwill badminton trip to Japan.

An investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) said that some officials selected their own children and relatives instead of eligible players.[2] It also stated that no public notice or proper trials were held. The CBI sent its report to the Government of India, but no action was reported at that time.[3][4]
