Alessandro Striggio
Alessandro Striggio (c. 1536–1592) was an Italian composer and Musician of the Renaissance period. His music was well known throughout Europe and he was very influential in England.
His son, also named Alessandro Striggio,[1] wrote the libretto for Monteverdi's Orfeo.
