Alistair MacLeod
Alistair MacLeod, (July 20, 1936 – April 20, 2014) was a Canadian novelist, short story writer and academic. He was known for his novels in No Great Mischief, The Lost Salt Gift of Blood, and As Birds Bring Forth the Sun and Other Stories. He was born in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, Canada.
