The Allard Pierson Museum is a archaeological museum in Amsterdam. The museum was founded in 1934.[1] It is part of the University of Amsterdam. Since 1976 it has been located the building of the former Dutch bank.[1]
History
The Allard Pierson Museum is named after Allard Pierson (1831-1896). He was the first professor of archaeology at the University of Amsterdam.
