American Water Spaniel

The American Water Spaniel, (often shortened to AWS), is a rare breed of gun dog of the spaniel type that was developed in the state of Wisconsin in the United States during the 19th century by using other breeds like the Irish and English Water Spaniels.[1] They are medium size dogs.

Colour

These dogs come in lots of different shades of brown.[2]

Temper

American Water Spaniels are usually very friendly with people and other dogs,[3] but they need lots of exercise to keep them happy, especially swimming like their name hints at.[1]
