Andres Carrasco
Andrés Carrasco (1946 - May 10, 2014) was an Argentine molecular biologist. He was known for discovering the adverse effects of glyphosate used in transgenic crops ingredient in roundup pesticide Monsanto. He was president and Head of Laboratory embryology (CONICET) of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). He was born in Buenos Aires.
Carrasco died in Buenos Aires from a heart attack, aged 67.[1]
