Apisai Tora
Mohammad Apisai Vuniyayawa Tora (January 5, 1934 – August 6, 2020) was a Fijian politician, soldier, and trade unionist. He was a Senator from 2001 to 2006. He was elected to the House of Representatives for the first time in 1972 as a member of the National Federation Party. In 1977 when he lost his seat.
On 27 September 2005, he was sentenced to eight months in jail for offenses related to the coup of 2000.
Tora died on August 6, 2020 at the age of 86.[1]
