Sales certification
Singles:
- Gold: 50,000
- Platinum: 100,000
Long plays & cassettes (albums):
- Gold: 30,000
- Platinum: 60,000
- Diamond: 500,000
Compilation albums:
- Gold: 100,000
- Platinum: 200,000
The criteria for certification were changed as of January 1, 2001. CAPIF certification criteria for albums since that date are:
- Gold: 20,000 units
- Platinum: 40,000 units
- Diamond: 250,000 units
