Army Radio (Hebrew: גלי צה"ל) or Galei Tzahal, known in Israel by its shorter name Galatz (Hebrew: גל"צ), is an Israeli radio network owned and ran by the Israel Defense Forces. The station makes and publishes news, music, updates about traffic and teaching programs to the general public as well as to make people laugh and army news magazines for soldiers.[1] The network has one bigger station, which is the main one, and another smaller station they own - Galgalatz (Hebrew: גלגל"צ) - that shows (mostly in English and Hebrew) music and updates about traffic all day in Hebrew. The workers include both soldiers and civilians.[2]
