Augustin Pajou (19 September 1730 – 8 May 1809) was a French sculptor. He is known for his portraits of celebrities.
Biography
Augustin Pajou was born in Paris. He studied sculpture with Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne the Younger. At the age of 18, he wins the Prix de Rome.
