History
Barvinok and its surroundings were inhabited even in prehistoric times. Flaked stone tools were discovered nearby.
The settlement itself was a farmstead established in the 19th century. Its first written mention dates back to 1863 under the name Bervingos. It was a suburban settlement of Baranyntsi, and until 2020 it belonged to it administratively.[1]
